Meet the Director
Barry Meehan is the founder and director of TruScan.
With over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry across Ireland and Australia, Barry brings deep technical knowledge and practical insight to every project.
Originally trained as a carpenter and project manager, Barry’s career has spanned high-spec residential, commercial, and industrial sectors — from large-scale mine developments in Western Australia to complex commercial fit-outs and heritage properties here in Ireland.
Prior to founding TruScan, Barry was Director of a successful kitchen and interiors company, where he pioneered the use of BIM, Revit and project management tools to modernise design delivery and improve collaboration with architects and contractors.
At TruScan, Barry leads on all client engagements and personally oversees each scan and model — combining hands-on experience with technical precision to ensure exceptional accuracy and service.
